Scam check
Is it really us?
Fake job offers often use real recruiters' names. Paste the message, link, phone number or email you received and we'll tell you whether it's genuine.
We will never
- ask you to pay for a job, an interview, training, a uniform, a medical or a background check
- ask for your banking PIN, OTP or passwords
- offer you a job without speaking to you first
- ask you to move the conversation to a stranger's number to "secure" the job
By law (Employment Services Act, section 15) no one may charge you a fee for finding you work.
Signs of a scam
- a job you never applied for, or a salary that seems too good
- pressure to pay or reply "today" to keep your place
- an interview only by WhatsApp chat, or a request for your ID and bank details up front
- a free email address (Gmail, Yahoo) for a company that has its own website
If you've already paid or shared banking details, call your bank now and report it at your nearest police station.
